Service Partners provides GEMCO insulation hangers, insulation weld pins, J-hooks, and safing clips to meet the needs of insulation contractors nationwide.
Insulation Hangers
GEMCO provides perforated base insulation hangers (adhesives required) and peel and press insulation hangers that are self-sticking. They include nails, annealing, a baseplate, and self-locking washers in a variety of sizes, shapes and materials. The nails are made with low-carbon steel and are copper coated. All steel pins are fully annealed, and the baseplates are made with galvanized low-carbon steel.
Insulation Weld Pins
GEMCO provides capacitor discharge insulation weld pins in both 10 and 12 gauge. They are made with low-carbon steel, 304-grade stainless steel, and aluminum. The mild steel pins are copper coated but other coatings are available by quote upon request. They are a minimum length of ¾” and are all annealed in process wire, unless otherwise specified. All pins are compatible and recommended for use with all brands of CD stud welding equipment.
J-Hooks
GEMCO provides J-hooks that are 10-gauge, made with low-carbon steel and 304 stainless steel. The mild steel pins are copper coated, and other coatings are quoted upon request. They are a minimum length of 3”. J-hooks are used to secure insulation to wire mesh by either hooking, tacking, or arc welding.
Safing Clips
Safing clips, also known as impaling or z-clips, by GEMCO are made with mild steel and come with a galvanized finish. They are used by contractors for installation of fire and sound barrier insulation materials, used between floors.
